Inis Records is proud to present its first Inis Exclusive reprint: Against Nature, the 1989 debut album by the Fatima Mansions, originally released on Kitchenware Records, with two bonus tracks.

Formed by Cathal Coughlan after the breakup of Microdisney, the Fatima Mansions announced themselves with one of the era's most acclaimed Irish debuts; NME called it "staggering in its weight of ideas". Its collision of melody and rage set the template for everything the band did after, and it remains a cornerstone of Irish alternative music.

This edition follows the expanded track list Cathal Coughlan himself compiled for the album's 2021 digital reissue, including the single "Blues for Ceausescu", presented on heavyweight blue vinyl for the first time with Inis Obi Strip.
