Emerging from the middle of nowhere in Ireland, newhvn rose from the remains of a post-rock band, blending their atmospheric roots with elements of shoegaze and post-hardcore. Years on the road have seen them tour across Europe, the UK and Asia, building a loyal following while sharing stages with bands such as Gleemer, Touché Amoré, Trauma Ray, And So I Watch You From Afar and This Will Destroy You. They’ve also appeared at festivals including ArcTanGent (UK), Other Voices (Ireland) and Dunk! (Belgium).

Drawing influence from artists like Pinegrove and The War on Drugs, the band channeled their expansive sound into their debut album Spring Time Blues. Recorded at Black Bay Studios on the Isle of Lewis with producer Tom Peters (Alpha Male Tea Party), the record captures ten songs that balance widescreen indie rock with the emotional intensity of their post-rock beginnings.

Pressed on coloured vinyl, Spring Time Blues marks the striking debut from a band whose sound has been shaped both by the Irish underground and years spent on the international touring circuit.
